Descrição:Cintirorgon is a fatty acid molecule that has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of mouse tumor cells in vitro. Cintirorgon binds to the cell membrane and blocks cancer cell migration. It also inhibits cancer cells from entering into an endocytic state, which prevents them from proliferating. Cintirorgon also has anti-inflammatory properties that have been shown to be effective against autoimmune diseases in mice. This drug is currently being tested for its antitumor effects on human cancer cells. Preliminary studies have shown that cintirorgon can inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells by blocking the production of hydrogen bonds between DNA molecules and preventing their replication. Additionally, it has been found to be effective against low-expressing tumors in a multicenter phase II study, which showed promising results for future clinical trials.
