Informação sobre produto
- acetamide, N-1H-imidazol-2-yl-
N-1H-Imidazol-2-ylacetamide is an acyclic nucleoside phosphonate that inhibits the polymerase chain reaction. It is a molecule with a molecular weight of 248.3 g/mol and has a chemical formula of C5H8N4O5P. N-1H-Imidazol-2-ylacetamide binds to the effector proteins, which are involved in the replication of viruses. This drug also has been shown to inhibit the binding of influenza virus to its receptor binding site in vitro, but it is not active against other types of viruses such as HIV or herpes simplex virus type 1. Clinical studies have found that N-1H-Imidazol-2-ylacetamide may be useful for treating various cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. It has also been shown to have clinical utility in treating chronic myelogenous leukemia by inhibiting colony stimulating factor (CSF) production
