Informação sobre produto
2-Iodo-4-methoxybenzoic acid is an enamine that can be synthesized from 3,4-dimethoxyphenylacetic acid and 2-iodoacetamide. The enamine is then converted to the sulfoxide by reaction with hydrogen peroxide. The sulfoxide is reacted with a tribromide, which will produce a diborane intermediate. This intermediate will undergo demethylation to form the desired product.
