Descrição:The trans-4-isopropylcyclohexane carboxylic acid is a β-pinene that can be used in the industrial production of medicines. It is obtained by the reaction of chloride with methylmagnesium and sulfurous acid. The trans-4-isopropylcyclohexane carboxylic acid has also been used as a reagent to synthesize peptidomimetics and terephthalic acid, which is an intermediate for the production of polyesters.
