Informação sobre produto
2-Iodo-3-methoxypyridine is a heterocyclic compound that has been used in the synthesis of pyridines and bipyridines. It is an anion, which can be prepared by the cross-coupling reaction of 2-iodopyridine with electrophiles such as chloride or thiolate. 2-Iodo-3-methoxypyridine can also be synthesized by the orellin mediated transfer of an electron from alkynyl to pyridine. This reaction is reversible, which makes it possible to use 2-iodo-3-methoxypyridine as a ligand in asymmetric reactions.
