Descrição:Irisflorentin is a synthetic derivative of epidermal growth factor. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of many enzymes, including those involved in the metabolism of xenobiotics. Irisflorentin inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species, thereby protecting cells from oxidative injury. This drug also blocks the inflammatory response that leads to hepatic fibrosis. Irisflorentin is active against prostate cancer cells, yet does not affect healthy prostate cells.
