1-(2-(3-Iodo-4-Azidophenyl)Ethyl)-4-(3-(Trifluoromethyl)Phenyl)Piperazine is an azido compound that binds to serotonin receptors. It has been shown to have high affinity for the 5HT1A receptor, which is a major target of SSRIs. 1-(2-(3-Iodo-4-Azidophenyl)Ethyl)-4-(3-(Trifluoromethyl)Phenyl)Piperazine has been shown to inhibit uptake of serotonin in vitro and in vivo. This drug has also been shown to be effective against rat brain tissue in vivo, with a high uptake rate and no nonspecific binding.
