Descrição:2-Ketovaleric acid sodium salt (2KA) is an oxime that can be used for the detection of metal ions and metal cations in environmental samples. It has been shown to be effective for the analysis of chromatographic methods, such as ion chromatography. 2KA is also a chromatographic method that has been used for the determination of oxopropanoate, glyoxylate, and other analytes in environmental monitoring. The recovery of 2KA is 97% when it is used with ozonation. Analytical recoveries are typically 99%.
