• Descrição: (S)-(-)-a-Lipoic acid (DLPA) is a reactive, oxidative molecule that has been shown to have antioxidant properties. DLPA is a natural compound found in the human body and is essential for energy metabolism and mitochondrial membrane depolarization. It has been shown to be beneficial in cases of bowel disease and diabetic neuropathy. DLPA has also been shown to be clinically relevant in the treatment of ischemia–reperfusion injury and cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity, as well as having anti-inflammatory properties. DLPA may also help reduce symptoms of Parkinson's disease and other conditions.
