Descrição:Lithium is a soft metal that has an atomic number of 3 and an atomic weight of 6.941. It reacts with water to form lithium hydroxide and hydrogen gas. Lithium is used in the manufacture of glass, ceramics, and batteries as well as in pharmaceuticals. Lithium also has clinical relevance for the treatment of bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses, as well as for the prevention of seizures. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is a technique used to study lithium ion transport properties, enzyme activities, and chemical stability. Laser ablation is the process by which samples are prepared for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies by vaporizing them with lasers at high power densities.
