Informação sobre produto
4-Methoxy-3-propoxybenzaldehyde is a molecule that belongs to the class of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes. It has been shown to have antifungal activity against a number of plant pathogens, including Alternaria alternata, Colletotrichum acutatum, and Botrytis cinerea. The high yield of this compound can be achieved through the use of the technique called Diels-Alder reaction. 4-Methoxy-3-propoxybenzaldehyde can also be synthesized by nitro reduction in the presence of an ionization detector. This compound is used as an intermediate in fragariae and plates (a type of fruit).
