Informação sobre produto
1-(1-Methyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)ethanone is an acetyl derivative that is used as a reagent for the nitration of aromatic compounds. This compound can be synthesized from acetyl chloride and nitric acid, or by the reaction of ethyl chloroformate with potassium nitrate in the presence of sulfuric acid. 1-(1-Methyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)ethanone reacts with oleum to form an anhydride, which can be used in organic synthesis. In addition, this compound has been shown to inhibit bacterial growth by inhibiting protein synthesis.
