Descrição:
Thiadiazol is a metal chelator and has an inhibitory effect against UV light absorption. It inhibits the synthesis of fatty acids by inhibiting the enzyme acyl-CoA synthase, which catalyzes the first step in the fatty acid biosynthetic pathway. Thiadiazol has also shown to have cytotoxic effects on mammalian cells. This drug also inhibits DNA-dependent amino transferase and stabilizes triticum aestivum (wheat) DNA and inhibits tumor development in mice.
