9-Methoxy-4-methyl-2,4,5,6-tetrahydro-1H-3,4,6a-triazafluoranthene hydrochloride is an orally active noncompetitive inhibitor of the enzyme receptor activity. It inhibits the uptake of the substrate molecule and has a significant effect on blood pressure. 9MEMTFAH hydrochloride is used in pharmaceutical preparations to treat inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and asthma. This drug also has an inhibitory effect on the nervous system and helps to regulate the levels of monoamine neurotransmitters.
