4-Methoxyl-benzamidine is a molecule that has been shown to have anti-cancer activities. It is a dihedral molecule with a molecular weight of 260.03 g/mol and an empirical formula of C9H14N2O3. The 4-methoxyl group is attached to the benzene ring by a single bond, and the amine group is attached to the benzene ring by two bonds. In addition, it has nitrogen atoms on each side of the benzene ring. This compound can be used as a template molecule for designing other molecules that have similar properties. The uptake of this drug in mitochondria was studied in human serum samples and control experiments were conducted to determine its uptake in cancerous cells. 4-Methoxyl-benzamidine has been shown to inhibit adenosine A3 receptor activity and induce apoptosis in tumor cell lines.
