Nomega-Methyl-5-hydroxytryptamine oxalate salt is a drug that belongs to the group of serotonergic drugs. It is used as an antidepressant, and is also used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Nomega-Methyl-5-hydroxytryptamine oxalate salt acts by inhibiting the synthesis of serotonin in the brain. This drug can be taken in tablet form or orally dissolved under the tongue (sublingually). Nomega-Methyl-5-hydroxytryptamine oxalate salt has been prospectively evaluated in clinical trials with various populations and shown to be effective in treating depression and Parkinson's disease.
