8-Methoxy loxapine is a drug that is used in the treatment of fibrotic diseases such as elastosis, adhesions and keloids. It has been shown to be effective in reversing adhesions and preventing the formation of new ones. 8-Methoxy loxapine can be used to treat nasal or pectoral disorders, as well as relieve nasal congestion. 8-Methoxy loxapine binds to serotonin receptors in the brain and prevents the production of substances that cause inflammation. The drug also inhibits 5HT2A receptors, which are responsible for pain relief.
