Descrição:Methylcarbamic acid phenyl ester is a carbamate insecticide that inhibits acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine in the synapse. It is used to control infestations of insects such as cockroaches, fleas and ticks. Methylcarbamic acid phenyl ester has been shown to inhibit the replication of DNA and RNA in bacteria.
