Descrição:
(Z)-2-Methyl-2-butenoic acid methyl ester is a molecule that has antibacterial properties. It is an isomer of the natural compound tiglic acid and has been shown to have inhibitory activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). This product can be used in the synthesis of microcapsules for palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. It also has a stereoisomer, which is active and may be used as an active substance. The residue of this product may be toxic to aquatic organisms and should not be released into water systems.
