Descrição:Mangostanol is a naturally occurring compound that has been identified as one of the main active ingredients of Garcinia mangostana. Mangostanol inhibits the activation of p65, which is a transcription factor involved in cell signaling pathways that leads to inflammatory responses and cancer. Mangostanol also inhibits the activity of enzymes involved in lipid metabolism, such as acetyl-CoA carboxylase and HMG-CoA reductase, which are key enzymes in fatty acid synthesis.
