Descrição:Montelukast styrene is a synthetic drug that belongs to the group of leukotriene receptor antagonists. It is used as an anti-inflammatory drug in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, bowel disease and allergic conjunctivitis. Montelukast styrene has been shown to be effective in the treatment of asthma, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and allergic rhinitis. This drug inhibits the synthesis of leukotrienes by blocking the leukotriene receptors on cells that produce these substances. Leukotrienes are chemical messengers that cause inflammation and increase airway resistance. Montelukast styrene blocks these receptors, preventing leukotrienes from binding to them and therefore reduces inflammation.
