N-Methyl 2-pyridine ethylamine is an amine with viscosity. It has been activated to form a reactive intermediate, which can react with another molecule to form a covalent bond. The synthesised amines are not very stable and undergo hydrolysis or oxidative reactions. The activation energy of N-Methyl 2-pyridine ethylamine is 8.8 kJ/mol, which is relatively high. This compound has been shown to have anticancer properties in cancer cells and induce cell death by reactive oxygen species (ROS).
