Descrição

DL-Mandelic acid benzyl ester is a chromatographic product with an alkyl group at the alpha position. It is reactive and has been used as an asymmetric synthesis to produce mandelonitrile, which can be converted to mandelic acid. DL-Mandelic acid benzyl ester has been shown to lower systolic pressure in rats by depleting catecholamines, and it may also have anticoagulant effects. This product is a crosslinker for polymers and can be used as a cationic surfactant, which may have potential for use in cosmetics or personal care products. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells through its ability to activate growth factors.
