Methyl 1-(2,6-difluorobenzyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate is a chiral compound that has been used as an intermediate for the synthesis of a range of pharmaceuticals. The compound is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of 155°C and a melting point of -161°C. It is soluble in water and methanol but insoluble in ether. Methyl 1-(2,6-difluorobenzyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate can be separated by phase liquid chromatography on an octane column at room temperature.
