5-Nitropyridine-2,3-diamine is an aminothiophenol, which is a type of chemical compound that inhibits the activity of b-Raf. This drug is selective for inhibiting kinases, and it has been shown to be efficient in inhibiting the phosphorylation of b-Raf by protein kinase C. 5-Nitropyridine-2,3-diamine also has the ability to inhibit carboxylic acid synthase and other carboxylate syntheses. It can be used as a potential inhibitor for kinases with high affinity for carboxylic acids. 5NPDD also binds to amines and condenses with diamines to form inhibitors that are selective for kinases with specific conformations.
