Nickel(II) phthalocyanine is a high-performance material that is used as an electrochemical detector for the detection of dopamine. It has shown antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi and has been shown to be stable in urine samples. The optical sensor can detect the presence of biological molecules such as dopamine, which is useful for diagnosing Parkinson’s disease.
