N,N-Dimethylformamide diisopropyl acetal is a molecule that belongs to the group of pharmaceutical preparations. It is used as a solvent in pharmaceutical and chemical syntheses. This product has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to the inhibition of histamine release from mast cells. N,N-Dimethylformamide diisopropyl acetal has also been found to be an inhibitor of the COX and LOX pathways, which are responsible for inflammation in the bowel.
