Descrição:
2-Nitro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenol is a hypogaea methylating agent. It can be used to convert arachidonic acid to arachidonic acid methyl esters. 2-Nitro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenol has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria that are resistant to halides and disulphide. This active form has also been shown to be conjugated with nucleophilic anions and postulated as an alternative herbicide for weed control.
