2-Nitroaniline-4-sulfonic acid NA is a molecule that contains a nitro group, an amine group, and a sulfonic acid group. The molecule also contains one or more hydroxyl groups. This compound is soluble in water and has optical activity at the 2nd order of magnitude. It can be filtered with a filter of 0.45 µm pore size from the filtrate obtained by dissolving 2-nitroaniline-4-sulfonic acid NA in chloride solution and adding sodium hydroxide solution to it. 2-Nitroaniline-4-sulfonic acid NA is used as a chemical intermediate for the production of 2,4,6-trichloro phenol and other organic compounds.
