Descrição:Noradrenaline bitartrate is a pharmaceutical preparation that acts as a neurotransmitter and hormone. It is used to treat cardiac arrhythmias and congestive heart failure. Noradrenaline bitartrate has been shown to increase the force of contraction of the papillary muscle in isolated hearts, which may be due to its ability to cause the release of calcium from intracellular stores. This drug also causes an increased uptake of glucose by the cells, which is thought to be due to its ability to inhibit insulin secretion. Noradrenaline bitartrate can also be found in many Chinese herbs, such as Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Zhen Zhu Yu).
