4-Nitrobenzenesulfonic acid is an amine that has been studied for its use as a pharmaceutical agent. It has been shown to have disease activity in experimental studies, but it is unclear how this activity would translate to humans. The solubility of 4-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid has been experimentally determined and found to be low in water and methanol. Its reaction mechanism with pyrazole ring is not clear, but it is likely that hydrogen bonding between the two molecules is involved in the process. The kinetic data for 4-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid are limited, but the solubility data show that the molecule will dissolve readily in glycol ethers and cationic surfactants.
