2-Oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carboximidamide dihydrochloride (ODPC) is a ligand that binds to a metal ion and can act as a catalyst for reactions. It has been shown to be an effective ligand for nickel in the coordination sphere of the metal ion. ODPC has been shown experimentally to bind with a thiolate group, which is an electron donor.
