2-(3-Hydroxy-2,6-dimethyl-4-tert-butylbenzyl)-2-imidazoline hydrochloride is an antihistamine that is used to treat eye disorders. 2-(3-Hydroxy-2,6-dimethyl-4-tert-butylbenzyl)-2-imidazoline hydrochloride is a potent inhibitor of the histamine H1 receptor. It binds to the H1 receptor and inhibits its activity by preventing the binding of histamine or other endogenous agonists.
