Descrição:Oxyphenisatin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Oxyphenisatin inhibits cyclooxygenase, which is an enzyme that produces prostaglandins and thromboxanes from arachidonic acid. It has been shown to have a potent effect on bowel disease and it is used for the diagnosis of liver cells. The use of oxyphenisatin as a contraceptive has been shown to be effective, with high values in both sperm motility and number. However, this drug may lead to metabolic disorders or tissue culture. Oxyphenisatin may also cause adverse effects such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, fatigue, or malaise.
