Pigment Blue is a section, which is used as an antibacterial agent. It has been shown to be effective against Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria through its ability to inhibit the synthesis of protein. Pigment Blue can be used in the form of a solution or as an encapsulating agent for other drugs. The particle size of Pigment Blue ranges from 5-20 nm and it has no toxicity to humans. This compound is soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, ethers, esters and ketones. Pigment Blue is also available in solid form and can be applied by spraying or dipping.
