Descrição:2-(Perfluorohexyl)ethyl methacrylate (2-PFEMA) is a polymer that is synthesized by free-radical polymerization of 2-(perfluorohexyl)ethyl methacrylate. It has been shown to be a useful material for dental and orthodontic applications due to its ability to resist mineralization. 2-PFEMA is chemically stable, exhibits no photoelectron emission, and has a low toxicity in animals.
