- Pentylhydrazinium Chloride
Pentylhydrazine is a lipoxygenase inhibitor that prevents the production of leukotrienes, which are inflammatory mediators. It is classified as an aromatic hydrocarbon and has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on fatty acid oxidation. Pentylhydrazine also has a strong affinity for the cb2 receptor, which is expressed in macrophages and other immune cells. This compound binds to the cb2 receptor, which may result in its therapeutic potential for treating depression. Pentylhydrazine can be used as a detergent composition to remove lipid stains in clothing.
