Informação sobre produto
Penconazole is a chemical pesticide that belongs to the group of azole fungicides. It is used in agriculture to control fungal diseases on many crops, such as grapes and strawberries. Penconazole has been shown to have synergistic effects with other pesticides, such as cypermethrin and propiconazole, which are used in agricultural practices. This agent also has a toxicological profile that is similar to benzene, which is a known carcinogen. The genotoxic effects of penconazole have been studied by using an analytical method based on liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). High values for genotoxic effects were found in mice treated with this substance at concentrations of up to 10 mg/kg body weight.
