3-(3-Pyridinyl)-1-propanol (3PP) is an organic compound that is used as a chromatographic stationary phase. It has been shown to be selective for soybean lipoxygenase and can be used for the separation of lipids. 3PP also has biological properties, including radical scavenging activities, which have been shown in vitro and in vivo for 3PP. This compound may also have anticancer activity due to its ability to inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis.
