Palustric acid is a fatty acid that is used to remove organic pollutants from wastewater. It has been shown to have significant interactions with human pathogens such as Pimaric Acid and Levopimaric Acid, which are produced by the degradation of chlorinated compounds. Palustric acid also has an acidic nature, and can cause a thermal expansion in water vapor.
