Perindopril-d4 is a drug that belongs to the class of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors. It inhibits the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II and blocks the vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin II. Perindopril-d4 can be used for the treatment of hypertension, congestive heart failure, or chronic stable angina. This drug has been shown to have a linear relationship between dose and plasma concentrations in healthy Chinese volunteers with an organic solvent (acetonitrile) as matrix. The calibration curve was established using a hypersil c18 column, which is a chromatographic technique that separates compounds based on their hydrophobicities.
