Descrição

Penfluridol is a chemical agent that inhibits the activity of dopamine receptors. It is a selective D2 receptor antagonist and has been shown to reduce locomotor activity in animals. Penfluridol has also been shown to be effective in treating urothelial carcinoma, which is a type of bladder cancer. It binds to the dopamine D2 receptor and blocks the effects of dopamine on cells in the body, preventing them from signaling for movement.
