Descrição:Phosgeneiminium chloride is a polycarboxylic acid that is synthesized by the reaction of phosphorus pentachloride and hydroxylamine. It has been shown to have an active form with regiospecificity in nucleophilic attack and amide synthesis. Phosgeneiminium chloride can be used as a reagent for the preparation of organic compounds, such as 3-hydroxybenzoic acid, which are intermediates for medicines such as tamoxifen.
