Descrição

Phenothiazin-2-Ylamine is an acetonitrile derivative that has antitumor effects. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to the DNA and inhibiting transcription, which results in cell death. Phenothiazin-2-Ylamine also exhibits fluorescence properties and can be used as a fluorescent probe for the detection of amines in organic solvents. This compound has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of protein in animals and humans, which may be due to its ability to bind with chlorine to form a stable molecule. Phenothiazin-2-Ylamine also shows anti-tumor activity against human leukemia cells, as well as anticancer activity against human breast cancer cells.
