Descrição:DL-Phenylalanine is a sodium salt of the amino acid phenylalanine. It is used as a supplement for treatment of chronic arthritis, which may be due to bacterial infection. DL-Phenylalanine has been shown to have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. DL-Phenylalanine also has some effects on dopamine levels in the brain, which are regulated by the phase transition temperature of DL-phenylalanine. This substance has been shown to inhibit actin filament assembly, hydrolysis by hydrochloric acid, gamma-aminobutyric acid binding, and excitability in muscles cells.
