N3-PEG4-NHS is a glycoconjugate that can be reversibly crosslinked to proteins. It is used for the detection of antibodies in immunoassays and as a superparamagnetic iron in magnetic resonance imaging. This product is also used as a glycan crosslinker for the synthesis of glycoconjugates, including monoclonal antibodies and complement-dependent cytotoxicity agents. N3-PEG4-NHS has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth by binding to antigens on the cancer cell surface, which triggers an immune response. In addition, this compound has been shown to have beneficial effects against autoimmune diseases because it prevents the activation of B cells by complement.
