Descrição:Perfluorodiglyme (PFDA) is a fluorinated liquid that is used as a solvent and as an electrolyte in electrochemical devices. The chemical reactions of PFDA are similar to those of trifluoroacetic acid, but the toxicity is much lower. PFDA can be nebulized for inhalation or applied topically. Perfluorodiglyme has been shown to have low-energy activation and stabilization, which may be due to its cryogenic and evaporative properties. Perfluorodiglyme also functions as a stabilizer for reactive functional groups, such as ketones and esters. These properties make it useful in chemical simulations and kinetic studies.
