2,3,4,5,6-Pentafluoroanisole is a polymer that is insoluble in most solvents. It is used as an active ingredient in the synthesis of polymers with high thermal and chemical stability. 2,3,4,5,6-Pentafluoroanisole can be activated by nucleophilic attack and has been shown to have high reactivity with phenoxy groups. This polymer film has been shown to have a low activation energy for proton transport. The conformational properties of 2,3,4,5,6-Pentafluoroanisole are studied using magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and flow system techniques.
