Quinolin-8-ylmethyl)amine is a biomolecular medicine that belongs to the class of chelate ring compounds. It has been shown to have anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo against cancer cells, with no significant toxicity. Quinolin-8-ylmethyl)amine has been found to be more potent than other imine anticancer drugs, inducing apoptosis through the activation of caspases. This drug also inhibits the growth of prostate adenocarcinoma cells by targeting G2/M phase transition and the induction of cell death.
