Descrição:Rhodium octanoate dimer is a rhodium salt that contains a chlorine atom. It is an analytical chemistry reagent for the determination of fluorine, hydrochloric acid, and syncytial virus infection. Rhodium octanoate dimer is also used as an inhibitor in the synthesis of aminopyridine and carbapenem. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The compound has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
